Who doesn't like kittens?

Last night we had a little intervention with nature.
Our good friends Katie and Bill had some furry tenants living in their backyard.

Katie has been out of town- so I volunteered to help out.

In a nutshell- we got the kittens together, put them in a box, managed to not the scare the mother off, trapped the mother and got took them to an animal rescue group here in PDX. Check out their site- PDX Pet Adoption

Now most of you know my current feelings on cats-- it's not really the cats as much as it's the cat shit. And really- what chaps my ass the most is the totally lack of responsibility on "the owners". It's not hard to get your cat or dog spayed (next door neighbors... that comment is directed at you.)

Anyhoo- they were cute little buggers. Good deed done for the day.

Yeah, we can't wait to see you guys! July 2-8. Cats suck. Good job on baggin' some. We had a cat in Portland that lived on our front porch because the people upstairs used to feed it. Annoying. Eventually she became the property of the wonderful SPCA. whew.
